The Tale of the Fox and the Crane
A downloadable game for Windows
The Tale of the Fox and the Crane is an artgame originally conceived as an art-installation, commissioned by Objeto A, for "Game On! El arte en juego" exhibition, 2015 edition, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was developed to work with the Kinect camera, but it also works as a point and click game.
The Tale of the Fox and the Crane is a love story between two animals of different species: a fox and a crane. It´s based on Japanese folk stories and art. The game has a painterly artwork and integrates both traditional and cut out animation techniques.
The player must join the narration to promote the love story between the two animals: by exploring and interacting with the natural elements that surround the characters (in order to foster, through nature's forces, the bonds between the two beings) and then by interacting with the couple itself in order to carry out actions that deepen their love.
